Martin Tiedemann
Martin Tiedemann is Head of Development & Communications of the Co-operative Party. He has led the Party’s two most recent campaigns, The People’s Rail to reform Network Rail and The Feeling’s Mutual to remutualise the failed banks.
Martin was a Labour & Co-operative councillor in the London Borough of Croydon 1998-2006, leading on community environmental and transport matters. He previously worked for Geraint Davies MP.
Martin is an elected member of the South London Area Committee of the Co-operative Group and the South East Values & Principles Committee. He serves as Co-chair of the Socialist Society, SERA – the Labour Environment Campaign, and is an activist in Streatham CLP and Lambeth Co-operative Party. He has been a Constituency Labour Party Secretary and was Secretary of Croydon Co-operative Party for several years. He is a member of the GMB, the Fabian Society and the London Cycling Campaign.

Heading off for #meatcrawl later this afternoon for meat at at least three locations so lunch needed to be light. Hence followed Abel & Cole’s recipe for cumin-flavoured beetroot soup with a slice of sourdough from Brixton Farmers’ Market. Except now I’m full.

Perfectly decent Turkish on Camberwell Church St for dinner with parents, now with a shisha bar upstairs it seems.
