Joe Fortune
Joe Fortune is the Co-operative Party’s Parliamentary Officer, managing a series of strategic political relationships with elected representatives in Westminster.
Outside of his work with the Co-operative Party, Joe is an Executive Committee member of SERA and has held a number of Constituency Labour Party positions including General Election agent, campaigns officer and Branch Labour Party chair. He is currently a shop steward and a member of Unite the Union. He previously worked in Public Affairs for The Waterfront Partnership and Freshwater Public Affairs where he specialised in transport policy. Joe also spent time as Parliamentary Researcher for Gwyneth Dunwoody MP and an intern for Libby Davies MP, an NDP Member of the Canadian Parliament.
