Douglas Alexander
Douglas Alexander was elected Member of Parliament for Paisley South in a by-election in November 1997 and is Shadow Foreign Secretary.
He was Secretary of State for International Development and Labour’s general election co-ordinator. Douglas has broad experience in government, having previously served as Department of Trade and Industry Minister and as Secretary of State for Transport under Tony Blair.
