Dame Pauline Green outlines the importance of tomorrow’s International Co-operatives Day

Dame Pauline Green, President of the International Co-operatives Alliance, looks to tomorrow’s 90th International Co-operatives Day, which sees Town Halls and co-operative businesses fly the rainbow flag around the UK and around the world.

Pauline described co-operatives as a “huge and inspiring movement” in her video, above.

UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon has also released a video for the UN’s 18th International Day of Co-operatives. Ban Ki-moon celebrated the successes of the co-operative movement from strengthening communities to promoting food security.
